Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jan 12, 2009 5:57 pm HELP - I need to upgrade my 70cm freestanding stove - current one is a Chef and they don't make that size any longer. I don't want to go any smaller - may have to go wider but that will mean cutting into cupboard and bench space. I have searched and searched and the only reasonably priced 70cam freestanding stove seems to be the Lofra. Does anyone know anything about this brand - the only retailer that I can find that stocks it is The Good Guys. Any info on this would be much appreciated. Re: 70cm freestanding stoves 2Jan 12, 2009 9:40 pm I don't really know much, only that GG's have the contract to sell Lofra's, so you wont find it anywhere else. I'd love to know more about them also, they seem like a solid brand on the surface - but don't know much about others who've lived with it. ICK So glad the building is over, never again. Loooove our house, but still not quite sure it was worth all of the stress they put us through! Re: 70cm freestanding stoves 3Jan 13, 2009 7:35 am thanks for your quick reply. i have since found some reviews on a product review website - not very good i'm afraid. my next step is to actually visit GGs and have a good look at it and find out as much as I can about it. will keep you posted. Bathroom renovation will likely include a back-to-corner bath and we’re considering a freestanding tap with hand-held shower such as the picture included.
