Re: Diamond gloss.. toffee mineral stone? 2Dec 05, 2008 7:00 pm hi seakyl, I haven't used toffee mineralstone, but have used pure mineralstone, which is nearly the same except without the browny/toffee bits. Here is a pic, there are more on my house of donuts thread (its in the pantry). I know it's not what you want but might give you an idea of what it looks like in a large piece, as the pattern looked the same as the toffee one in the laminex samples l had.
It does look like real stone! We are very happy with it. Re: Diamond gloss.. toffee mineral stone? 4Dec 05, 2008 7:40 pm Yes it looks a bit grey. But not excessively so, I think (hope!) as it and the stone benches are the only bits of grey I have in my house, everything else is browny and warm colours! We're having the pure mineralstone - like dounuts - in our kitchen. If you can get to the Laminex show room in Murarie, they have a fantastic diamond gloss display area there. I can't remember if they have the toffee one on display, but you'll get a really good idea of how the diamond gloss looks compared to the normal laminex. I think I spent nearly 2 hours there looking at all the options Re: Diamond gloss.. toffee mineral stone? 7Aug 04, 2012 2:15 pm I'm thinking of using pure mineralstone also. I was advised against the gloss because it scratches too easily and I have a busy home w four kids. I liked the picture of the pantry that was posted. Is the edge join very noticable?
