This is going to sound pedantic ...
... but has anyone else noticed that it's like standing next to the Niagara Falls when water is running down the drain in a modern kitchen sink?
I assume this is because of the use of PVC and/or the shape and structure of the plumbing. Putting the plug in the second sink helps but even then I find it irritatingly loud.
Does anyone know what I should ask the builder to do to avoid this problem in our forthcoming house?
