kitchen cupboards and dishwashers?
well we have decided we need a dishwasher. Our kitchen doesn't have a recess for a dishwasher So we have picked where one can go. We have searched up on brands as well. we know where a power point can go under the bench top. all the hoses will reach and so will the plug.
However our cupboards are only 525mm deep (internal measurement) and every dishwasher seems to require a 600mm deep recess.
The cupboards are one of the regular type flat pack style. (its a fairly new house) The bench top is wide enough, so I figured what if i just unscrew everything and reassemble using deeper cupboards and a proper dishwasher recess.
We have plenty of spare floor tiles and splashback tiles.
However the bench top is u shape and at the point it goes round is a join. I see under the bench it is kind of screwed/ clamped together with some screws recessed into a routed hole. I bet it is also glued
What are my chances of undoing those screws and getting the two benchtops apart without any damage? and getting them back together again?
what are the chances that each cupboard unit is also screwed and glued together?
