Hi, can anyone recommend a good 90cm free standing oven?
Thanks

It,s still sitting at Harvey Norman,s at the moment as our house won,t be ready for a couple of months...we chose that one because our neighbour to be has one and she just loves it...apparently it,s easy to use and you can change between gas or electric for the oven.... Sorry but I can,t remember much else about it as it was so long ago that we bought it...all I know is that I didn,t want one that was too complicated to use....I don,t want to have to get the instructions out everytime I use it I guess it also depends on what price range you are looking at....I know we looked at a couple and they were around $6,000 Way out of our range....I think ours was about $2,500 which included either a glass or stainless steel range hood (it was a special at the time as you would normally pay about $500 for one) Good luck with your choice Cheers Mel Building on 9 acres Re: Free standing oven 90cm 5Nov 11, 2008 9:02 am i was looking at ovens a while back - ended up going for a DeLonghi with a RRP of $4499 but ended up getting it for $2440 delivered with 4 years extra warranty..
They had one in Rick Hart Seconds with a ding in the side but it had just been sold, so the guy said he could get me a brand new one for the same price that day so i jumped on, when it arrived i checked every mm of it and it was in fact brand new and not a second ! Definitely worth giving Seconds a go ! Been using the oven now for a few weeks and it is awesome, cannot fault it! Re: Free standing oven 90cm 6Nov 14, 2008 2:14 pm I had my heart set on a Falcon, either the Toledo or Classic model. But just can't justify the cost (around $6k).
Harvey Normans have a special on (well, our local store anyway) at the moment. A really nice freestanding 90cm SMEG oven (elec oven, gas cooktop), with a rangehood and dishwasher - the whole package is around $4k I think from memory... At this stage, that's at the top of our list. Re: Free standing oven 90cm 7Nov 14, 2008 2:54 pm Hi Ange, A few more questions could be asked here to narrow the field down for you - Do you prefer gas or electric hot plate on the top of the freestanding oven ? Do you require a wok burner or a fish burner on the top of your oven ? Do you require any special features in your new oven ? Are you happy with the standard stainless steel colour ? Is your price range 2 - $3000 3 - $5000 or 5 - $10 000 ? Re: Free standing oven 90cm 8Nov 14, 2008 8:46 pm [quote="esg"]I had my heart set on a Falcon, either the Toledo or Classic model. Bosch products are more common than smeg in NZ. Anyway, found out that not all Bosch products are made in Germany. Was told the 90cm made in Italy. Re: Free standing oven 90cm 9Nov 18, 2008 9:15 am We've got a Blanco, with matching rangehood and it does the job. We paid $2800 for both...
I thought Blanco was the best looking one aside from the ILIVE (which I wasn't prepared to buy as I thought it was a little too expensive). Just one tip... they're annoying to clean. But that could have something to do with cleaning being the bane of my existence. Cheers, Lotte 2 3912 Hi Chippy, no there isn't, gave it a really good look through and literally opened everything and checked all edges as well. Hence the question, just hoping someone would… 2 1162 My daughter and son in law are about to start building, they are having a 600mm induction cook top and 900mm oven.
