Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Nov 03, 2008 2:34 pm Anyone got an opinion on Hansa or Dorf kitchen sink mixers? I am hunting down the best option and can't make up my mind. The Hansa Polo sink mixer seems fairly common the other one I liked was the Dorf Adelphi. Our sink is fairly square (Franke Pacific) so the Hansa will probably look better. Re: Hansa, Dorf or something else??? 4Feb 05, 2010 4:04 pm Last house I built I used Hansa gold-plated taps and thermostatically-controlled showers. I doubt I got a cent extra for the house when I sold it. With my new house I'm planning on getting cheap, perhaps Chinese taps that look good. They are so cheap in comparison that if something goes wrong, Ill just buy an extra couple of taps to keep on hand. I'll still be much better off financially. However I wouldn't go cheap on toilets. I've had too many Chinese toilets that break too easily and are hard to get parts for.
