Hello,
What are the best Caesarstone alternatives and are they any cheaper? Is the quality the same?
Can anyone share their experiences with Silastone, SmartStone, Essa Stone etc.
Thanks

Can anyone share their experiences with Silastone, SmartStone, Essa Stone etc. Thanks Re: Cesearstone Alternatives 2Jul 27, 2023 1:26 pm maybe someone more knowledgeable will give you some technical info soon. But I've had a few of these over the years and anecdotally, they perform the same. So in my experience is has been primarily around aesthetics. Personally think Caesarstone has the most interesting looking options in their premium ranges. But the lower you get, they all have similar styles and colors. Re: Cesearstone Alternatives 4Aug 13, 2023 9:28 pm They are all just different versions of the same product. They are all manufactured using around 93% quartz and then resins to bind it all together. It's the colours and patterns that some of the higher end manufacturers have that makes a real point of difference. Ceasar Stone was one of the first companies on the market and spend a lot of money on advertising so people tend to think of them first but essentially you pay a premium for this. The product is no better. If you find a colour you like in another brand their are significant price savings to be had and you won't be able to tell the difference product wise. Iโm very keen to find out what will be replacing the standard inclusion of Caesarstone kitchen and bathroom benches for many builders. Perhaps the low silica engineered stone products will just take over. What have people been told? Re: Cesearstone Alternatives 9Apr 09, 2024 6:00 pm Bimbob Porcelain. Looks so. Searching online, found Porcelain is maintenance free, long lasting, non-porous, durable nature making it heat, scratch and stain resistant. Does anyone have any experience with Porcelain as kitchen benchtop? What about granite? Does it have same properties as Porcelain? I just visited a Caesarstone showroom/warehouse in Yatala and they now have a whole line of low silica products as well as the porcelain products, so looks like all will be well as far as still being able to use Caesarstone ๐ |
