Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Dec 01, 2008 12:28 pm I need to replace my old 'Chef' stove top and have just found out that these were built bigger than the standard 60cm models that they sell today. Therefore the hole in my benchtop is too large for the new 'smaller' stove tops. I was thinking that I could fit a stainless steel frame around the edge of hole so that stove top can sit on that. However I don't know where to find such a frame. I am in Sydney so if anyone could suggest where I could get this made up or if you have a better solution I would be very grateful. The benchtop is stone. Thanks

Re: oversize stove top hole 4Dec 01, 2008 6:26 pm Some companies also have 70cm cooktops. The cutout is the same for the 70cm as the 60cm (for the company ours is coming from) and not sure about the cutout for 90cm, but I'm with donuts, it may be cheaper and look better to get a larger cooktop.
