There's a few old threads where people mentioned they were thinking of getting one. I'm wondering if anyone has one and is now using it? How do you find it? Worth the money? Recommended? They are amazing. Perhaps you could ask to go to a demo if you are in a city. Re: Who has a steam oven? 5Oct 22, 2008 9:37 pm where do you get these from?

A steam oven steams and there for does not bake items which makes them crispy. We had industrial ones in all of the Army kitchens I have worked in. There great for boiling your eggs If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There's no use being a damn fool about it. W.C. Fields Brought Established. Re: Who has a steam oven? 10Nov 17, 2008 12:48 pm I think there are some steam ovens that act as normal ovens as well and the steam can be switched on and off. They all seem a bit expensive for what they do, the miele one is quite small as well Mike 2/3 of the way thru the build Re: Who has a steam oven? 12Nov 18, 2008 1:36 pm so where would you start looking for one of these? 2nd-Fix | Blog Building with Desyn Homes previously with the insolvent Endeavour Homes Re: Who has a steam oven? 13Nov 18, 2008 1:38 pm I have ended up buying a Kleenmaid one.... Neff, Miele and those type of companies make them.
Clive Peeters, Harvey Norman, other bigger outlets. As far as I'm aware only the more expensive manufacturers produce steam ovens.... happy to be corrected. I would love to get one and have seen you can also get a normal oven with a steaming option, but i wonder if the steaming would take longer as the ovens are larger units. Did you ever look at this option? thanks! Re: Who has a steam oven? 16Mar 03, 2009 7:04 am You can go to see a demo by Neff (and other makers). They have people that go into the big stores and cook up a few things for you to try. I've only dealt with Neff but they now have a showroom in Tennerife (spelling??) and the lady that demos will be available there. It was great to go along and see the oven working before purchase. I learnt a lot. Hi Chippy, no there isn't, gave it a really good look through and literally opened everything and checked all edges as well. Hence the question, just hoping someone would… 2 2083 My daughter and son in law are about to start building, they are having a 600mm induction cook top and 900mm oven.
