A heavy object was dropped on the edge of one of my melamine drawers, damaging the plastic edging on the top of the drawer.
I've attached a picture that shows the worst of the damage, with some additional dents not shown that aren't quite as deep.
Are there any ideas as to how I could repair this damage? Ideas I had was trying to fill with a glue that dries white, or trying to use a silicone sealant.

I would think your joiner could simply replace the plastic edge. You may even be able to do it yourself if you can find the correct edge and the adhesive.

You don’t need a tradesman to come to you as you can take the drawer to them. Other than that, you could try something like these, although colour matching might be an issue.
Thanks for the suggestion, agree that would work.
I was hoping for a cheaper idea that avoided the need for any tradesmen to attend if there were any other thoughts?
