I am self-installing an IKEA kitchen. The Metod system is designed to be wall mounted. However with the layout of my kitchen, one cabinet (80x80x60) will not be against a wall, and the other (40x80x60) has to be at a weird angle from the wall. Can i just building my own toekicks for them instead as a solid base?

Maybe buy some pots, insert a fence post and fill them with concrete? The pots can be whatever style, size and shape you need to make it work.
