We are just in the process of getting setup in our new house and we are looking to install our dishwaster. We had a recess put in by the builder so there is power and holes drilled through the kitchen cupboard etc. The query I have is that where the dishwasher connects into the plumbing under the sink there seems to be a hard plastic cover/cap on the connection, is it as simple as knocking it out with a screwdriver and the connecting it all up?, or does it need say a hole drilled through it, it does look relatively solid.
