The actual design of kitchen #1 is terrible though. That whole walk in pantry is a complete waste of space. It's an enormous space just to fit a fridge (which is 100% compromised anyway) and some tiny shelves. If you removed the pantry and just incorporated it into the kitchen you would make it so much more usable. I'd also look to put an alfresco on the back of the house probably off the kitchen living so you can open up for entertaining.
