Hi all,

At a stage now that i can comfortably show you our kitchen as we finally installed handles after a year of living without any (we didnt like the builders range and decided to buy and install our own but we got lazy....).

Benchtops: Laminex Freestyle - 30mm & 80mm for island
Colours - White gloss on o/heads, Licorice Linea on other cupboards
Splashback: 300x600 Porcelain Tiles
Handles: Kethy Roma Handles

Love your kitchen!

Just wanted to know exactly what white you used for your white cabinets? (overhead and under bench). Was is the white laminex, or polar white?

Finally finished, so here's mine:

I am now thinking of a black splashback like yours. I have no idea why I like it I just do.
I think we are getting the same sink as an over mount sink. we wanted a Oliveri sink but the builder said no it we are now getting the tech

I am looking for someone who has a metallic sparkling shiraz glass splashback installed? I really want to include this but am hoping to see some pics so I can confirm it's the exact look I want. My kitchen will be all white so need a wow splashback.

I was originally looking a metallic Shiraz but once I put the samples in my kitchen they looked so much darker and didn't have the wow I was looking. After going through every sample I could find I decided that I would need to go for a real red red to get that wow it changes colour a lot depending on the light or angle from bright red to a deep burgundy

The sparkling Shiraz is perfect. My kitchen will be all white so this colour will be superb. :-)

Love your splashback! And absolutely love your idea of painting a blackboard! I may do the same

Here is our little kitchen in our new house. Really happy with how it turned out. And just by luck we found a kitchen trolley which fits in perfectly between the end of the island bench and the wall. So we can have the option of a longer bench or not (which is really handy in a not so massive kitchen!
We just painted a blackboard on the wall at the end of the bench too.

What are peoples thoughts on our splashback? it is a little different but we really like it.

I like the look of blackboards but don't want the chalk dust, especially when the kids get into it!

Liquid chalk may a good alternative ?

I've got a wax chalk pencil thingo and it's fantastic. Looks much better than when you write with real chalk and no dust!
