Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Show me your kitchen... 1441Jun 20, 2011 11:55 am Have been wanting to do this for ages, so here it is...Our kitchen still hasn't been cleaned up as yet (hence the dust on the kitchen bench), but I think it's looking good so far. We've gone for a grey/black and white theme with walls painted Taubman's 'Precision'. The pantry, overhead cupboard and bench backing are all Laminex 'Zincworks' and the inside cabinetry are all Laminex 'Polar White'. We also supplied the rangehood (Robinhood brand) and builder’s supplied oven and stove (Blanco brand). Hope you all like it Pantry from inside kitchen Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Oven_Stove_Rangehood Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Kitchen sink_DWasher_Oven Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Kitchen from dining Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Kitchen bench from hallway Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Full Kitchen from hallway Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Plastering 02/03/11 Roofframe 31/01/11 / Electrics, plumbing, gutters, downpipes 12/02/11 Bricks 10/01/11 / Pad 10/12/10 Retainingwalls 5/11/10 / Re-peg 14/10/10 Bldlic appvd 10/09/10 / Plansappvd 12/07/10 Bldcontract signed 19/02/10 / Landsettlement 25/01/10 BlockUOffer July 09 Forum: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=27512 Re: Show me your kitchen... 1442Jun 20, 2011 12:06 pm Ezi4few - you've got to be happy with that - looks fantastic. Re: Show me your kitchen... 1443Jun 20, 2011 12:24 pm Nice, whats going on with the fridge overhead? looks like it was modified as it doesn't line up with the pantry with a bulkhead? not criticizing, just interested to know from a design point of view. Re: Show me your kitchen... 1444Jun 20, 2011 12:49 pm Pitto Nice, whats going on with the fridge overhead? looks like it was modified as it doesn't line up with the pantry with a bulkhead? The builders said that the pantry would could only go up 28c and as our ceilings go up to 31c, we couldn't afford to pay extra for the custom made pantry to reach that high up. We're okay with it, but completely understand what you mean as we asked the same query during prestart. Just waiting for the cornice to be painted and a few other 'adjustments' to the house and then I'll be cooking up a storm baby! Lots of lovely drawers, colours work well together and love all those windows!! You will be one happy Masterchef!! Thanks Mclaren! I was worried about the colours as I thought on the samples it all looked a bit 'industrial', but hopefully when the floorings layed, it will add a bit of warmth to the space... *crosses fingers* Plastering 02/03/11 Roofframe 31/01/11 / Electrics, plumbing, gutters, downpipes 12/02/11 Bricks 10/01/11 / Pad 10/12/10 Retainingwalls 5/11/10 / Re-peg 14/10/10 Bldlic appvd 10/09/10 / Plansappvd 12/07/10 Bldcontract signed 19/02/10 / Landsettlement 25/01/10 BlockUOffer July 09 Forum: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=27512 Re: Show me your kitchen... 1447Jun 20, 2011 4:43 pm Quote: The builders said that the pantry would could only go up 28c and as our ceilings go up to 31c, we couldn't afford to pay extra for the custom made pantry to reach that high up. I think when it is painted up it will look a little more custom. All that bench space is a dream!! Re: Show me your kitchen... 1448Jun 20, 2011 7:38 pm EZ- I've got the 75cm version of that oven (has the same internal space with the controls above instead of the side) and I absolutely love it! Feeds a few really easily! Feeds a few really easily! I actually wanted the 75cm Dee but they said would cost us more cause they didn't bulk buy that dimension. It just looked like there was more room internally with the 75cm vs.the 90cm...so really glad to hear there's not that much difference Plastering 02/03/11 Roofframe 31/01/11 / Electrics, plumbing, gutters, downpipes 12/02/11 Bricks 10/01/11 / Pad 10/12/10 Retainingwalls 5/11/10 / Re-peg 14/10/10 Bldlic appvd 10/09/10 / Plansappvd 12/07/10 Bldcontract signed 19/02/10 / Landsettlement 25/01/10 BlockUOffer July 09 Forum: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=27512 Re: Show me your kitchen... 1450Jun 20, 2011 7:52 pm Internally it's exactly the same- I paid an upgrade for mine instead of the 90cm which was standard-but I liked the balanced look better and it also meant that I could have a narrow cupboard next to the oven for all my trays.
