Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 May 31, 2009 8:17 pm Our big renovation/extension is about to start and we haven't even come close to selecting colours for the kitchen. We have seen lots that we like but I can see that the colour combinations work in a galley kitchen, but with ours being a u shape I just get so confused about how to use which colour where. We would absolutely love to use Luxe Ebony designed veneer Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Or parbury concept oak **couldn't find a picture** Parchment in satin with lamininex colourtech Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Benches in ice snow Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Flooring we are still undecided on. We were going to have tiles but after having the same tile laid in our bathroom I am just not sure it is the look I want for the rest of the house. I am trying very hard to talk my husband into the vinyl planks and I will be going out to look at them tomorrow. Here is our kitchen now Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And this is the new design Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The changes are * oven changes position * blind corner pantry with door next to oven space (it is drawn here as a corner pantry, that is incorrect) * appliance cupboard will have a roller door (I am happy for this to change if it doesn't work) * bench where kitchen sink is will now open out onto new room, there will be no window or wall there at all. Bench become a little longer and other bench adjacent to that become a touch shorter. I love the look of the timber but I am just not sure of how to use and where it would best be used. I would definitely love the timber look under the bench at the back of the kitchen, but not too sure where else. I would love to hear your opinions and of course I am absolutely open to any other colour combinations you have to offer. I will appreciate them all. Thanks so much Andrea Re: URGENT COLOUR HELP NEEDED! 3Jun 01, 2009 10:34 pm I'm not much of a designer, so probably not much use giving advice on colours. But I did want to say.... you've mentioned possibly going for a vinyl floor. I assume this would be 'wood' look? Just keep the floor in mind when selecting the colours for the cabinets so that it doesn't clash or isn't too dark. Good luck! Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3831 thanks Chippy, i hope they have applied sealer but i am doubt to be honest, so i am gonna do this job after handover. 8 17217 I am building in claymore NSW and this is shown in the building envelope plan. … 0 10856 |
