Once upon a time there was a man with a broken dishwasher, who didn't know what to do.
He said:
1. My dishwasher is broken and it needs to be replaced
2. I'm 99% sure I have an older Ikea Kitchen (Faktum), but I have a 600mm gap that fits a standard dishwasher.
3. The dishwasher I have obviously replaced a different machine that fit the gap. The previous machine fit perfectly and allowed for a kickboard to run across the full length of the kitchen. BUT, the kickboard didn't fit with the current machine and was taken off and placed in storage.
4. I'm looking for a new machine that I could put into that space that allows for the kickboard to once again run the full length of the kitchen.
Our hero has many questions. Will he need to get an integrated unit and attempt to get a front door from Ikea that could match? (NOTE: I think I can find a door, but it seems like it's too long, which means I'd need to get it cut down to size in order for it to fit. Or are there non-integrated units that he could just slot in that the kickboard would work with?
Please let us know if you've any thoughts or advice to help our hero out.
