Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Oct 07, 2018 12:06 pm So upfront I will admit I know this will seem odd to a lot of people - but doesn't hurt to ask!! I really dislike the look of fridges in the main/front kitchen - they aways seem to stick out like a sore thumb. And given finding a fridge of the exact same size never seems to be possible, i'm not wild on an integrated one either. thinking of putting the fridge in the large butlers (which will be where weekday breakfasts, simple lunches (sandwiches, salads etc) tea/coffee/toast etc is made) Anyone don't this and found it worked? Or is it completely crazy and I need to just deal with the fridge in the front kitchen? Re: No fridge in main kitchen? Anyone done this 2Oct 07, 2018 1:05 pm Haven't done this, but have seen in quite a few display homes. Re: No fridge in main kitchen? Anyone done this 4Oct 12, 2018 12:02 pm It would work well, we have a fridge freezer in a butler's pantry, like yours, access without interupting the cooking zones is important, its in a good position so you can access it from kitchen pretty easily, go for it. They put the fridge in the pantry mainly because it was so old, Mum didn't want to have it as a feature but it still worked really well so they didn't want to get rid of it. (they eventually did) We were a family of 5 boys and it worked. I like the layout of Sethor's kitchen and as other people have said, as long as you have easy access it's not a problem.
