In the old house had an aerial point in the master - never used it.
In the new place they had a daggy bracket arrangement and a high mounted aerial point. Removed the bracket (wouldn't have suited they way we laid out our bedroom) and got them to disconnect the aerial point when we got the new aerial put in - therefore no TV in master.
I find that if I fall asleep with the TV on - like when I'm on the road and in a motel - I have a crapola sleep (more dozing than sleeping) - but everyone's different.
As for DW she can fall asleep in a thunderstorm.....
