Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Jun 29, 2015 8:47 pm Ok our 3 bedroom house is being constructed and painting interior is scheduled next week. Main floor is going to be a dark bamboo. Taubmans Crushed Ice is what we have chosen for the walls throughout the house. (It is very white, with a subtle blue hue) We want White ceiling and cornices. To give that contrast. Colour in link looks way to different to chip and sample pot but get the idea. Crushed Ice - http://www.taubmans.com.au/colourcentre ... rushed-ice However not sure what to do with Window Architraves, Door Architraves/Jams, Cupboard architraves and Doors. Paint them white like the ceiling to give that contrast. Or keep them the same as the walls. FYI we are painting a feature wall in the main bedroom in Stormy Purple. Is a dark purple. Bed 2 is having Soft Apple Green walls. Bed 3 is Sky Bloom walls. In these rooms we have opted for "Crushed Ice" on the architraves (windows and builtins) and inside builtins. BUT if we want different trims for the rest of the house then these trims would need to be white also? What are peoples thoughts??
