I've got the walls painted, but wasn't sure doing the skirting boards, in particular the masking of the wall to the skirting board. What is the better option to mask ? Masking tape run all the way around the top of the skirting board. A straight thin edge that you hold on the edge as you paint. I'm not worried about getting paint on the floor, as it will be carpeted/tiled afterwards, I just don't have a steady enough hand to attempt to do it without some sort of masking. At least being water based acrylic it can be wiped clean with a wet chux if done soon enough. Done the first coat last night, and most of the paint got only on the skirting boards/architraves. It's the best product I've used that gives a really high gloss with no brush marks.
