Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Aug 03, 2014 11:01 pm I'm thinking of having my facade partly green render & a dark grey brick. Has anyone painted their exterior a light green like in the link below? http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/ ... 33714d.jpg Thanks in advance for your help! Re: Does anyone have an idea of what this green might be? 2Oct 21, 2014 2:32 pm Hey Nicole2014, I'm not an interior designer (I work in a related creative field)...but I'll still have a crack at it! If you're going for dark greys I'm guessing your green will need to be muted so it creates a harmonious colour scheme. Either toning down the green with a touch of grey or making a shade with a touch of black. I used the Dulux colour wall under 'Greys' and found that Domino, Pollinate Half and Pale Eucalypt are a perfect combo. Here's a link to your original image with Domino & Pale Eucalypt swatches placed beside it: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ So maybe try Pale Eucalypt? You may want to tint it with white for a lighter but still muted look? Colour is subjective so you (or others) may not agree with my suggestion. Hope it helps get the ball rolling though ![]() You must be new to the internet. You're also the only person anyone here has ever heard of washing their garage wall.
