Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Feb 24, 2014 9:49 am I need some opinions on where we should place our feature tile in our bathroom/s. We are having one whole wall tiled with the feature tile and the walls and floors will be the other tile. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/ ... 398EC6.jpg We have decided that in the ensuite the feature wall would be on the shower ( longest wall) In the Main bathroom it wod be the wall with the window. And in powder 2 it would be the wall behind the toilet. Do you think they are the best options? Main level http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/ ... 61B9C6.png Top level bedrooms http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f213/ ... 068E73.jpg Also if anyone is keen, what could vanities and stone tops would you go for? I am in colour overload at the moment! Thanks Re: Help with feature tile placement ( pics included) 2Feb 24, 2014 9:20 pm Hi Raemit, I think you have picked the exact right walls for your feature tiles. It is usually good practice to have them in an area that can be clearly defined e.g. the shower wall in the ensuite that you mentioned. One thing you may just want to check is the little bits around windows and things to make sure you avoid thin slivers of tiles. This may not apply in your case but sometimes if there is a feature tile it can highlight areas where there are really narrow spaces. In terms of vanities and basins, I would suggest going with one of the colours in the feature tile (either lighter or darker) and running with that. There is so much to choose from. Best of luck with it all. Cheers, Jenny. Need hints, tips and inspiration? Join me on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/ournewhomecoach Who am I?
