Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Jun 14, 2013 8:18 pm Hi everyone I have a country style kitchen and have an old turned leg tas oak table and chairs. It is in poor condition and I am restoring it. I want the chairs and the table top to remain un painted with a semi gloss clear and stain only. But the legs and little bit of trim under the table top I would like to paint white, then put some semi gloss clear over when doing the top. Problem is what shade of white ? Is there a standard colour white or just whatever suits ? I would hate to get the shade wrong. Do I do the legs in acyrlic or enamel if clear coating after ?
