Have you started on your landscaping ideas yet? What colour will the driveway be? I hadn't considered surfmist before a few days ago but after seeing the visual you did I really like it... I found the second visual a bit 'flat'... I think you need a timber look garage door..... Try the CB Caoba Dawn, I think it will work with your timber stain. After Emy's suggestion, we have taken another look at the Coburn facade, Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I think with these colours, Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ and timber stained beams in between the rendered columns it will actually look very nice ... thanks Emy for the suggestion, as I don't want a 'boring' house, this might actually be the ticket to a 'safe' but stylish house Our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64705 Re: Facade visual- what do you think? 26Apr 15, 2013 8:36 pm Oh no I disagree with timber garage door! I think they'll look dated in about 2 months. And also ugly. Hahaha. I LOVE what the lighter fascia has done, amazing what a difference such a small thing can make. I think that final design looks great Meowsy. Hopefully I am getting somewhere now... pretty sure we will go for the Coburn facade- I have actually seen one in real life in the estate where I am building and it looks great. Emy, yes, I think with your suggestion of the Coburn facade, and having the boards joining the two portico columns stained to tie in with the windows would be ideal. They are Linea Board- my SC said they can be stained, I assume he is correct there?
