Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Feb 18, 2013 11:30 pm I want to have lots of different room colours in my new house, so I figured I should have white or creamy-white architraves, though I'm a bit worried about keeping the white looking clean. The exterior will be Timbercrete bricks which are a light honey colour. We will have aluminium window frames, which I would like to be powdercoated in black. I've seen houses with a similar colour & really like it. The problem is: from the inside of the house, black aluminium frames within white timber architraves - I don't imagine that would look very good. Does anyone have anything like that? White aluminium window frames would go with the white trim but, I am afraid would show the dirt far too much. Any advice? (apart from painting trim grey- I hate grey!) What did you end up choosing and are you happy with the result? Its the flashing and is normal. Some builders cover them up others just leave them handing. You can cover it up with an aluminium bracket or ask the builder. 7 8398 4 9403 |
