I want to have lots of different room colours in my new house, so I figured I should have white or creamy-white architraves, though I'm a bit worried about keeping the white looking clean.
The exterior will be Timbercrete bricks which are a light honey colour. We will have aluminium window frames, which I would like to be powdercoated in black. I've seen houses with a similar colour & really like it.
The problem is: from the inside of the house, black aluminium frames within white timber architraves - I don't imagine that would look very good. Does anyone have anything like that?
White aluminium window frames would go with the white trim but, I am afraid would show the dirt far too much.
Any advice? (apart from painting trim grey- I hate grey!)
