The home isn't huge, but the eaves are raked back towards the house (the sheeting is secured to the rafters) so it will be slightly fiddly. $1000 seems remarkably steep... but I've been out of touch with the painting scene for quite a few years now, so will feign ignorance. Any opinions? This is just for the cementing sheeting, not the fascia, etc... And without viewing the actual quote with the painters planned work outlined it doesnt make it easy to give an opinion....BUT...on the whole I think thats a fair price. I f he is supplying the paint that should be about $ 150 leaving $ 850 for maybe 2 days work...which is on par for a subcontrator. Hope this helps They using concrete or timber sleepers?
