There's so many different varieties of "grey" now! It is so easy to accessorise with grey as your base. Case in point, the small touches of charcoal, greens, yellows, and the bright reds of the large painting. It does look great against the blackbutt. The other great thing with grey is it's an easy colour to paint over if you decide to change it down the track and the crisp white lifts the scheme.
