Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Feb 15, 2008 7:50 pm Hi guys
I had my colour appointment today - yay! I had a rough idea before I walked in on what I wanted, however I still ended up changing my mind on some things within two minutes of being in the room I wanted neutral colours (I've never been a fan of bright colours - probably a leftover from being a bit goth as a young'n ). My colour selections are below: External: Bricks: Boral Tanami Roof tiles: Boral Macquarie Dark Chocolate Guttering: Colorbond Jasper Fascia: Colorbond Paperbark Window: A & L Colorbond Jasper Garage Door: Colorbond Jasper Front Door: Corinthian Paperbark Kitchen: Benchtop: Wilsonart Bronzed Fusion Doors: Parbury Light Beige Floor Tile: Tilestar Millennium Beige Splashback: Tilestar Matt Ivory with strip of Glass Double Choc Mosaic Ensuite: Benchtop: Wilsonart Smokey Topaz Doors: Parbury Pearl Bisque Floor tile: Tilestar Millennium Black Wall tiles: Tilestar Glossy Ivory. Mocha Blend strip in shower. Bathroom: Benchtop: Wilsonart Morro Zephyr Doors: Parbury Light Beige Floor tile: Tilestar Millennium Beige Wall tiles: Tilestar Glossy Ivory. Glass Double choc strip in shower. Laundry and WC have same main tiles as bathroom. Feedback is welcome as I have 7 days if I want to change anything and some of you colour gurus (esp Mish) can point me in the right direction if I've gone TOO bland on my wish for neutral Dana Dana -------------------------- Building with DFH - carpet installed! It’s a problem sometimes. But I’ll do it section by section for you. External: Bricks: Boral Tanami – (what colour is this?) Roof tiles: Boral Macquarie Dark Chocolate Guttering: Colorbond Jasper Fascia: Colorbond Paperbark Window: A & L Colorbond Jasper Garage Door: Colorbond Jasper Front Door: Corinthian Paperbark Internal and External Building and Colour Consultant Online - Worldwide http://www.denovoconcepts.com Re: Update re Colour Appointment 15/2 5Feb 18, 2008 6:49 pm Any help that you can give me is greatly appreciated
I would have liked to have the Jasper as the front door colour too, however the consultant told me that I would void the warranty if I had a darker colour and the door warped I can always change this later if I wish, so no big drama. Hopefully the link to the Boral catalogue will work. The Tanami is the 2nd from the right under the Horizon subsection. http://www.boral.com.au/brochures/order ... s_VIC.html Thanks , Dana Dana -------------------------- Building with DFH - carpet installed! Re: Update re Colour Appointment 15/2 6Feb 18, 2008 6:59 pm It didn't work for me but try this one instead:
http://www.boral.com.au/brick_selector_ ... den_Bricks Select state Vic, Range = Horizon and Sub-range = Riverside. I like that brick Dana Re: Update re Colour Appointment 15/2 7Feb 18, 2008 7:04 pm Thanks Colleen
Most of the houses already going up in my street are the standard red brick which looks nice, but I wanted something a little different - as long as the rest don't point and stare and go "look at the odd house out" Dana Dana -------------------------- Building with DFH - carpet installed! Re: Update re Colour Appointment 15/2 8Feb 19, 2008 7:09 pm Nether of those links are doing it for me!!!
So I guess the brick is in a browney tone? Thank you very very much for your assistance! I'm not much of a talc user so my ensuite floor shouldn't look like it has a bad case of dandruff. I found a pic of Tanami I could actually copy so hopefully it will actually show below. In RL it looks a little darker than the pic.
