Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Nov 21, 2011 10:18 am I am posting another painting question and I seldom get any replies but really need one here as I am so close to finalising our exterior colours. .Pleeease can I have some opinions?? Maybe my questions are too dumb LOL! Anyway I have decided on Gutters: Jasper Facsia: Paperbark Downpipes: Paperbark Window sills - Paperbark Eaves and trim above windows: Sandy Day or Sandy Day Half??? Which goes better (for the eaves) with the Paperbark and Jasper? The Sandy Day or the Sandy Day Half? The trim above the windows is made with the same plasterboard used for the eaves. We are building an extension to our old 1970's house. Re: HELP!! Would really appreciate your imput as I need to give final colours to the builder early next week. RocksInHead - yes I've used the visualiser and I have samples on my house already. I'm just after some opinions on what others think look best as I can't decide. I keep swaying from one way to the other! Re: HELP!! If you have large eaves and no light getting in under them then possibly Sandy Day ½ will be best. I also see pink in the Sandy Day half. Thanks Michelle. yes I prefer the Sandy Day full too as it compliments the other colours better. My only concern was whether it was too dark under the eaves. The eaves are a standard size and the light varies according to the time of day. Thanks for your help. Re: HELP!! Sandy Day Full or Half with Paperbark Facia / Jas 8Nov 26, 2011 8:31 am We've got Woodland Grey gutters and Paperbark fascia, downpipes and windows. We went with Paperbark again for the eaves and trim. All just blends in together.
