The Weathertex is this product Selflok Ecogroove Smooth 300 http://www.weathertex.com.au/products.php As it is not a large area we are looking to get it painted in an exterior metallic paint. The colour look we are after is like a Dulux Precious Silver Pearl (which is a powder coat) http://www.tradefit.com.au/images/DuluxColour.pdf Has anyone done any exterior metallic paints? Any advice, suggestions? Cost effective is an open term. It is cheaper to buy the Weathertex and get it painted by a lot more than half than to buy the metal cladding product we were looking at. This is probably why I am surprised that it is cost effective using what I had considered to be a commercial product. It would be great to see the pictures when you have finished.
