Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Sep 19, 2011 7:48 am Hi all I am first time home builder and i am struggling with coming up with my external colour scheme for my house. I've taken heaps of pictures of houses that are being built in my estate, but nothing really standards out for me. I am building an Eden Brae - Cambridge 26 with a Entertainer facade which looks similar to this, but not as big - http://www.edenbraehomes.com.au/images/ ... facade.jpg I want to be prepared for my colour appointment with having at least an idea of which way i should go with my colours... I've noticed that with grey's you can only really get grey/blues or grey/greens is that right? is Windspray a gray/green colour? Here are my thoughts at the moment: Brick - Graphite Roof Tile - Gunmetal Gutter - Gunmetal Fasica - Surfmist Windows - Surfmist Feature Poles - Windspray (for balcony poles, smooth rendered) Wooden Poles/Railings - Surfmist Cladding - Windspray (for upper cladding) Downpipes - Surfmist If anyone has any pictures of how Windspray looks like on either cladding or smooth rendered that would be great? Thanks everyone cheers Mon Re: Windspray Help... 2Sep 19, 2011 11:46 am I assume you've done a google search on images? This one was interesting. A couple colorbonded their facade... Top left and bottom right - shale grey Opposite corners - surfmist. Middle vertical - windpsray. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hi there, long-time lurker but first time posting. I've bought a house 2 and a bit years ago and last year we had some major water damage on a converted pergola area… 0 7931 Yes, unless you are in a low intensity rainfall area or the area is protected from rain. Do you have access to NCC Part 2 or can you download it? I can email you a copy… 10 12512 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7158 |
