I’m happy with all the colours you have chosen. Either the Hog or the White Duck will work. We went with White Duck 1/2 for the walls and Whisper White for the trims.... there are pics on the blog but super happy with the results and the look... To be honest we picked the colours from the chips... didnt buy a sample or anything... glad we didnt go hog bristle - it would have been to yellow - white duck is more grey undertone Goes great with out polished concrete floors! I find that Hogs Bristle (especially the half strength) can throw a bit of a pinky-cream undertone as well, particularly with timber floors. That said, Hogs Bristle is still a nice colour (despite it's less attractive name ) Anna Ethos Interiors is a fresh and creative design firm, specialising in online interior design services for clients all over the world. http://www.ethosinteriors.com.au Re: Paint Colours 5Oct 05, 2011 6:22 pm Hi. Im relatively new to this forum... We are building a house and its up to painting stage (YAY!!) Ive read with comments about hogs bristle half strenght and hope we haven't made a mistake - they start painting on Friday so it may be too late to change... I hope we made the right choice... we have quite reddish/brown timber floors throughout the house and the wall colour is hog bristle half and the ceilings and trims etc are antique white usa. I didn't want too much colour on the walls and I didn't want it white. The comment about it looking pinkish concerns me.... anyone had an similar experience or have anything to share... arggggg I never thought choosing paint colour would be so hard. Thanks for your comments.... great to read. Re: Paint Colours 6Oct 06, 2011 12:07 am amaccer Hi. Im relatively new to this forum... We are building a house and its up to painting stage (YAY!!) Although it's our main bathroom, it's quite tiny. We've chosen porcelain tiles in white with a bit of grey (a marble look). The vanity is white and the counter is Caesarstone in Organic White. We have a white cabinet on the wall and will put a mirror above the sink. Overall, with the cabinet, mirror and window, there will be very little wall to paint. Please help me pick a colour! We're open to pretty much anything, just no beige/brown tones. Our style is fairly traditional, and the rest of our home has blues, greens and yellows. The bathroom is thr first room we've updated, everything else is a bit on the shabby side! Thank you! Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7143 Thank you. That is really helpful.
