Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Jun 01, 2011 7:06 am Hi all, Just wondering if I could borrow some opinions and ideas for render colors. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ We built our house with the basic facade as we new we could change it ourselves sometime in the future when we tire of the feature bricks and give it a personal touch. The cream 'feature brick' we are thinking about getting rendered the same colour as the cladding above it which is 'Dune' colourbond colour (we are considering changingthe cladding to other type of nice cladding for a better finish or even painted timber slats maybe???) And then even rendering the front section of brown brick (behind the cream bricks) a dark mud grey colour. (maybe CB Woodland grey?) It needs to be lighter than the garage I think. Main bricks - austral homestead tan Garage, gutters, eaves, down pipes and entrance door - CB monument (Hope this makes sense as I'm typing this on my iPhone at 6 in the morning.lol ) What do you guys think? Any other colour suggestions? Forrester 43sq We have our keys (3/6/11) Now it's time to decorate (that's the fun part.lol) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=37598 Help! Main colour is Dulux Heifer which is a pale grey looking almost whitish in the sunlight and we have a feature section in Dulux Stepney which is a darker grey. We have a Surfmist garage door, but our Dune water tank up against the Heifer goes nice together. Help! Perhaps to the timber you mentioned. The different shades of grey would look good. Re: Help! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Help! I just need to see it. Forrester 43sq We have our keys (3/6/11) Now it's time to decorate (that's the fun part.lol) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=37598 Re: Help! So I think you need something will some colour in it. Any suggestions????? You want a colour that has a hint of warmth, but not overly strong like jasper as you already have enough dark features. Best to get some sample pots and try'em out. Re: Help!
