Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 May 29, 2011 4:54 pm Hello everyone!!! We are on the early stages of building our first home and I've been very happy with all the help and tips I've learned from this site. I came across the topic about this before but I couldn't find it now so forgive me if this has been asked before. We are confused on the idea of whether having our internal paint done by ourselves or by a professional and the most important question is when to paint? I've spoken to friends and they all have different ideas, others said wait for six months and some said it's ok not to wait as long as you have the walls sealed. Anybody did their internal paint as soon as possible after handover and the paint finish came ok? Would love to hear from your experiences. Cheers!
