Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 May 23, 2011 10:01 pm hi all We have made our selections, and am just awaiting some prices on upgrades before we sign, but am wondering if I made the right choice with my paint color.I was actually feeling pretty lousy on our selection day had a cold and wanted the day over with.I wanted an off white for our paint color with maybe a grey tone to it, my kitchen is gloss white, black gloss benchtops, white tile and stainless steel splashback[maybe], bathroom is charcoal/black and white, and will be going a charcoal carpet in bedrooms, and maybe vinyl planks in kitchen and living areas. I chose natural white but now wondering if its a bit "creamy" and if should go whisper white for the grey tone? I know in the end they are probably both similar and wont really matter Im sure, but dont want a white thats too yellowy iykwim, and really want to stay away from any brown tones. interior paint with a grey tone? 2May 24, 2011 7:10 am We have used 1/2 Dulux White Duck all through our home including ceilings, doors, skirting and anything else that got in the way. It's a really nice soft grey. We have black and white furniture - goes great with that, and I have a white gloss kitchen also. It even goes great with browns I love it . It's not an obvious grey, kind of a white grey. Until we put white against it, it looked white....ish Re: interior paint with a grey tone? 4May 25, 2011 6:46 pm We used whisper white as the colour on our trims and it looks great. We used it with Dulux blind date on walls which has grey tones but it is quiet a dark wall colour. I heard white duck is really nice, apparently it gets used a lot on exterior of house under eaves Check out our renovation in progress at http://www.ourdiydream.com Follow us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/ourdiydream Check out what we are 'pinning' http://pinterest.com/ourdiydream/ Re: interior paint with a grey tone? 5May 30, 2011 2:59 pm Dulux Beige Royal 1/4 has the grey undertones.
