Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Apr 18, 2011 9:43 am Ok so I've spent the entire weekend painting our raked celing in one room, the kitchen. It's nearly killed me! The beams are mission brown and the rest of the ceiling between the beams only has one coat of paint. The beams have had 2 coats of undercoat and one coat of ceiling white so far. And that involves cutting in and using a roller on all surfaces. What a massive job, and that's only one room of 4 that I need to do! So I'm thinking for the rest of the house that maybe using an airless spray gun might be easier on my back. Does anyone have experience in painting high ceilings with one of these? Is it difficult? Is the cost of hiring the machine justifed by the time saved painting? Any advice would be great! Thanks mate. Yeah good points!
