Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Mar 28, 2011 9:00 pm Hi we are painting the outside of our house it has a woodland grey roof, with red bricks - picture enclosed- andwe are toying with p[ainting the rooller door in paperbark, the fascias as well and the rendered area perhaps half paprbark but with the windows full strenght,. front door as well but the screen door will be black. too much paperbark do you think??? http://s1181.photobucket.com/albums/x43 ... on%202011/ Re: paperbark as an exterior colour?? 2Mar 28, 2011 9:19 pm The house we built a couple of years ago had nearly the same colors, and it looked good. The colors we have chose for our new house are Blackwood Bricks, Roof tiles-Shadow flat profile, Gutters-Monument, Fascia-Paperbark, Windows-Merino to match Paperbark, Render-Paperbark, Garage Door-Caoba Dawn, Front door- Painted Bark. The other house had the garage door, render, front door, and fascia all in paperbark it had the grey colorbond roof and red bricks. I think the colors you have picked would really suit your house. Re: paperbark as an exterior colour?? 3Mar 28, 2011 9:34 pm I have a reddish/brownish brick house and Paperbark garage door, windows, gutters, facias, downpipes and feature render 'bands'. Also has a slate grey roof and black front doors. The larger render colour is "Earth Kiss", and is deeper than Paperbark. I don't think there is too much Paperbark, and will look better once all the landscaping is done (which will probably take years!) Like ⋅ 1 comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... It looks different than the small color sample they have online at dulux. Stormy your house looks great, we are having the paperbark downpipes also. Re: paperbark as an exterior colour?? 8Mar 28, 2011 9:51 pm 'Paperbark' is the colorbond colour, Merino is exactly the same colour, but not 'officially' a colorbond colour. My windows are actually Merino as that is what the supplier has labelled it, but it is exactly the same as Paperbark. Beat me to it, Deb! I have A&L windows also. Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ...
