Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Mar 16, 2011 10:37 pm PLEASE HELP, This is doing my head in! I need to get our all white walls and white ceiling paints tomorrow and still haven't decided 'which' white as there are so many! I would like the white to take on other colours when you are in different room or areas of the house. I don't want stark white, it needs to be soft and not a grey white and not a green white. It is a new home in a contemporary stye I have blackbutt floors in the kitchen, hall, dining, family area and it is a large open area,(except hall). The kitchen will hopefully hav eriver white granite (has a grey marbley look to it). Any advice would be greatly appreciated, especially if you have experience in this area. Thanks Re: Wall paint advice, which white?YEEK so many HELP!!! 2Mar 16, 2011 11:21 pm Dulux antique white USA has an ever so subtle pink undertone, it's a warm white but in saying that does not look pink at all on our walls. We have it everywhere, I love it For pics do a search on the colour in the forums, a lot of h1 members have used it. It will "take on other colours when you are in different room or areas of the house". The colour "antique white usa" is a lot whiter than antique white (antique white is quite into the cream spectrum)... If you are after a soft white then antique white usa 1/4 or 1/2 strength is a good choice (goes well with timber floors, browns).... If you want a crisper white (goes well with black furnishings) then builders white is a good option. Versaloc is a mortarless besser block system that still needs a properly engineered footing. If you just do a 400x200 footing it will fail in time. At 17m long you need it… 1 3184 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending.
