Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Feb 22, 2011 8:33 am Hi, i need some help please to choose an exterior colour for our old fibro cottage, i painted the exterior fibro walls in dulux surfmist, i just choose that colour on a whim as i got it on special, can anyone please suggest a colour to go with it on the lower brickwork, something nice to go with plants against it, the roof is terracotta tiles, i will replace the guttering with colourbond surfmist as well. Will also be adding some wood panelling at rear and one side where the house just sits on those support colomns, there used to be lattice there but removed it as so daggy! At the front of house and one side it is all brick on bottom, those blonde bricks so would like to paint them instead. Do u think grey underneath will go with an earthy colour roof, its terracotta tiles? There will be wood panelling under where u can see under the house. Also, would u paint the wood panels or just stained timber? I have no idea! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ That is surfmist i have painted it, its more cream i think not grey?
