Question4 how does one get the degree of each colour internally correct? signed confused!! any answers much appreciated. sorry so many Firstly bec, welcome to the forum.... You have chosen similar internal colours to me....i am unaware of your tiling style but your paint colours are similar, as is your kitchen benchtop.... I also wanted to have the taupe, white, chocolate black and silver in the house. I will also be looking at one feature wall colour which will be darker than the hogs bristle, but not really a chocolate, plus another dark colour for our theatre room.. We have chosen Spotted Gum for our flooring which will has a very neutral tone throughout (not too dark or too light in colour), with mocha colour tiles in the bathrooms/toilet and laundry. And dark mocha carpet. I love your colour scheme. Try to put together a colour board with samples of your selections on them. Stare at them until you are absolutely certain you are happy with your colours - we did. I am happy with our selection, now have better things to focus on .....like finding new decorator items / feature lights and furniture to fill the house with.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: Internal colours.....how many 3Dec 17, 2007 12:06 am oh thanks thats great

Sorry bec, in regards to the colours, probably 2, the Colonial for a feature wall somewhere - haven't decided where yet.... and a darker colour again in the theatre. Regarding furniture, we have a mixture at the moment. Black and chocolate leather lounges Going to re-stain the dining table to a darker colour instead of the teaky colour it currently is.. The 8 dining chairs for the table are a light chocolate colour macro-suede. Entertainment unit is also of a teaky colour, that will be re-stained to match the dining table/chair legs as they are in an open plan family/kitchen/meals area were you can see both. I have seen a gorgeous silk/wool shaggy style rug which is predominatly black with slivers of silver/pewter in there as well.... Looking at artwork like this - but might try doing it myself ![]() They are available from http://www.kanvas.com.au/index.asp I like this sort of style too, but can't find this style of desk anywhere??? http://i235.photobucket.com/albums/ee299/matthewnathan/dbb3a895.jpg Our theatre will be mocha/black/silver colourings as well...
