Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Feb 07, 2011 1:21 pm Hi there, We have recently had our render painted, we chose Solver Cape Horn and it looks bad, well not what I wanted anyway. Here is a pic of the front of the house - garage door will be surfmist. I want to repaint the render and maybe the front door if need be. Ideally i was after a deep grey/modern looking front...any ideas? i thought woodland grey, but it seems too green? Any suggestions please Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Roof tiles are actually a fairly dark charcoal/blue type colour - eaves & gutters are solver hammersley Here is a pic before the render was painted, you can see the roof colour a bit better... You could do the dark on the garafe and the inset wall. or the dark on the main front wall and leave the others light. A balanced diet is chocolate in both hands. I think Windspray is perfect Michelle, thank you. I also like the look of Taubmans Foxtail & Stepnay. Re: Render colour help..Michelle?! 6Mar 11, 2011 3:30 pm Hi michelle, Sorry to dig this up again, but we are still undecided about what to do here... I have come acress 'Dulux Exposed Elements' and wondering if that could work as the render colour around the window on the front. or even dune. The Garage door has gone on and is surfmist, and the pavers are down (they are light grey overall).
