Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Nov 29, 2010 6:42 am Similarly to other "Show Us ..." threads - I know they are here somewhere, but they are scattered around people's threads and so are hard to isolate (find), check them out quickly and have them all in one spot. Horizontals, verticals, rollers, shutters, sheers, panel glides - any type!! So, if anyone feels like contributing into this dedicated thread - I think it would be fun! (We don't have any yet, otherwise I would put up ours ). My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Re: Show Us Your Blinds 2Dec 05, 2010 7:43 pm Hi Lex, I thought I'd help get your thread going!! Fabric Blinds we used in the kids bedrooms, with suncreen and pelmet (fabric is Boston, and colour Chinchilla. Sunscreen is Tempoview in Slate:-) http://i925.photobucket.com/albums/ad92/barbs68/Moved%20in/house547.jpg http://i925.photobucket.com/albums/ad92/barbs68/Moved%20in/house538.jpg Re: Show Us Your Blinds 3Dec 06, 2010 6:06 am Thanks, brb!! Yeah, I left this thread alone to suffer in whichever fate comes to it Hopefully other people will join in. Your blinds are divine, the colour is beautiful, and I love how they "recessed" the sheer one and made the blockout one comfortably wide so there are no "leaks" . Wonder what have you used in your everyday living areas and on sliding doors? We'll have a mix (I think). We got eco shutter blind for kitchen and bathroom (still not installed), but most likely verticals elsewhere (still undecided - next candidates in line are these double rollers or even just blockout curtains). The rest of the house is on hold till next year when we can afford to fund them. In the family and dining slider, I've not really made up my mind, but I do love the fabric we've chosen for the blinds so I'll probably get romans made with that fabric and sunscreens underneath but in white instead of slate, so that it doesn't darken the room. My shutters in the theatre: http://i925.photobucket.com/albums/ad92/barbs68/miscellaneous/023.jpg Re: Show Us Your Blinds 5Dec 06, 2010 6:42 pm Wow, those are some fancy windows! I like the colour of the shutters - this is in my mind one of the best shades of timber colour (wish there were floors exactly like that ). Very nice wall colour too !! Had a quick peak into your thread and loved your beautiful colours all around, not to mention the floors and tiles, well done ! My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ...
