Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Nov 03, 2010 5:38 pm We are currently looking at building the Sovereign in Newhaven, Piara Waters with SPH. Having at look at our budget we are thinking of the Sovereign Park and then upgrading some of the features. As this house has a very different facade/elevation to the Display Sovereign we would like to see it first. The picture on the SPH web site for the sovereign Park looks atrocious! Has anyone built with the standard Park facade/elevation? (The sales guy is finding it difficult to find anyone that has!) We would like to drive past one to have a look or see a photo of one? thx, GG Re: Does anyone have a pic of the SPH Sovereign Facade 2Nov 04, 2010 3:35 pm The elevation they've shown on website looks very 90s to me. But with different colour combos it could look fine - and totally forget the red border! Rendering the front hasn't cost us a fortune so maybe just upgrade that as well. I like that design. We have gone for the City Beach from their Vittoria range. Maybe look at the Vittoria range (if you havent already) and make big changes and upgrades and still come under your budget. Wasn't hard for us to add $35k to base price! Re: Does anyone have a pic of the SPH Sovereign Facade 3Nov 05, 2010 1:12 pm Yeh we thought the front looked very old fashioned and cheap! Everything is now rendered as the standard. We will have to have a border as our covenant states 2 colours. As for the upgrades we have a few already so rendering on top of those will make it pricey! The Sovereign design is perfect I must admit, we did look at the Fremantle but we would have to make too many changes there. I think the City Beach is better than the Fremantle. We may have to go back to * for their Cantebury or Grandview which are great value. Even if we have some of the rooms made bigger the changes may come in lower than SPH as there are more standard features with CL Around the drawing board we go again we're really getting dizzy with all this Anyway at least we have narrowed it down to just the 2 builders now lol! Re: Does anyone have a pic of the SPH Sovereign Facade 4Nov 05, 2010 2:17 pm I think rendering our front was about $1k. My covenants list is looong! We had to have rendered fronts as well as a feature material, not just 2 colours. Its so hard deciding on a house and builder. Its worse when every month they keep advertising special bonuses. I started to feel greedy with what started getting added to my needs list instead of wish list - we changed our minds so many times but we ticked most boxes, the lotto house will tick everything. I dont feel we have missed too much on our house, we wanted a good backyard still so didnt bother with a games room, and we are planning only 2 kids so the 4th bedroom is the office/gym/junk room. The City Beach suited us (to the way I changed it) for the large alfresco, the theatre and laundry away from bedrooms for noise. Sorry! I'm new to this forum and have made a mistake in my posting!
