Browse Forums Finishing Touch 1 Oct 07, 2010 10:22 am Hi All, I keep running in to this forum when I search for colour help from google so decided to join! We are currently renovating our 11 year home... It is currently multi brick, with the heritage green colourbond roof, cream fascia and red gutter... and we are completely over it!!! We want to render and have the roof resprayed... I guess I am trying to achieve a theme inside and out of 'Balinese Elegance'... We have a lovely deck and tropical garden and are renovating inside with timber floors, a fresh white kitchen and a few other things....v I want a gorgeous chandelier in the bathroom which is where the elegance fits in... fresh white paint throughout the interior... I am absolutely stuck as to what exterior colours to go?? Our garage roller door and window trims are all Smooth Cream ... I wish they were timber but they are not, so want to work with complimenting. I also read that you can repaint the window trims and garage door but think this would be a mammoth job. I am hoping some of you might have suggestions for me... Originally I wanted a taupey/ grey render with dark grey roof, but really don't know. I would totally appreciate ANY advice that you could give me or photos you could direct me too. Thanks heaps, Jemma Re: Colour help with renovations needed :) 2Oct 08, 2010 10:54 pm jem1976 We want to render and have the roof resprayed... Have you tried any of the simulator websites to see how different colours go together? Colorbond has one, and so does one of the paint companies (can't recall which one now ). Can you work in a bit of natural timber or stone to the exterior - perhaps timber screening and/or some decorative pebbles in the front yard somewhere? That could tie in with your Balinese theme. Some tropical-looking plants would help too. I don't think your cream windows and garage door will be a problem if you can complement them with some darker colours and the right "accessories" in the garden. Thankyou so much ๐ I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK ๐ 2 7143 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3230 Hi there, we have classic cream gutters, fasciaโs, roller door and undercover carport.
