Didn't realise how unpopular green.sheets were. I had my heart set on green sheets to match our feature walls. no luck so I went with grey instead. But just as the shop was closing I found a green table cloth for a certain lunch on Saturday. That's it. No more purchases. Re: Doing it with green.....show us here! 616Nov 24, 2012 9:13 pm That's where I was, Spotlight. there was one green I liked but it was only 150 thread. The other one was 225 thread but too bright. Maybe I was too picky. I usually wait until there's 1,000 thread on special somewhere and buy them, but the only colours I have are ivory, mocca and stone (beige)- they don't seem to do a big colour range in the thou. Plus, I have just got my green ones off the line yesterday before a big hailstorm hit (!!) and noticed they have faded unevenly... Won't buy them again. Re: Doing it with green.....show us here! 618Nov 25, 2012 11:11 am some of the ebay ones are ok and come in a decent colour range. Bought some 2 years ago in a deep blue and the seller had lots of colours including a nice green that wasn't bright. . I'll see if I can hunt up the ebay seller I bought from as they were lovely and have been washed and slept on almost continuously. DH believes in washing and putting back straight on the bed. sigh. so the 'lacky on the bottom sheet has gone now but the sheets are still lovely. Towel king was the sellers name. he/she specialises in egyptian cotton. they seem to have "hunter green" "lemongrass green" and it one size i saw "lime". Not cheap though. I can't rememebr what brand mine were. I was going to buy some more but I'm on a campaign to get DH to agree to a kingsize bed so am stuck atm. http://myworld.ebay.com.au/towel_king&s ... 1543.l2533 Re: Doing it with green.....show us here! 619Nov 25, 2012 1:32 pm Thanks kexkez, just checked out your link. Years ago I bought an aubergine sheet set that has faded unevenly which is why I wanted better quality. Time will tell...
