Painting is apparently starting next week...yeah right I'll believe that when I see it, we still don't have all the windows in ...so in theory I could have piccies in about 4 weeks...but I'm not holding my breath. Luckily for me I made my mind up that I wanted a chair for feeding went there and saw it on the floor in another fabric. Asked about this fabric and they happened to have one in the storeroom otherwise I would have had to wait for 4wks (over Christmas). Even the legs matched our furniture perfectly - sheer fluke all round LOL. It is the most super comfy chair to feed in - just what you want at 4am.... Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Doing it with green.....show us here! 16Jul 07, 2010 10:13 am Kyton - love your house!! Did you make the curtains for your nursery? Re: Doing it with green.....show us here! 17Jul 07, 2010 10:18 am Thanks Flagstaff IV - no this house has been bought curtains all the way - being 8mths pregnant when we took over the build cancelled out all crafty enterprises (our last home I went way overboard with fancy pelmets, sheers and fancy drapes that I made). The sheers were from Bunnings of all places and the pelmets were part of the nursery set that I purchased online. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Doing it with green.....show us here! 18Jul 07, 2010 10:43 am kyton - I've got a little 3 year old stepson, who basically refuses to go to sleep unless you're in the room with him (when he's being especially fractious, he requires you to put your head on the pillow next to his). I'm chasing a chair to put in his room so I can stop sitting on the floor and that looks perfect! fingers crossed they're still for sale! (and sorry for hijacking the 'love of all things green' thread...) Re: Doing it with green.....show us here! 19Jul 07, 2010 10:52 am Dee, everyone's seen my green bathrooms.... we also have a green feature wall in our bedroom (haven't made the bed yet, so I'm not taking pics ), plus I have quite a few green accessories - I'll try to find some photos in a while. One of my favourite things is some green short stemmed wine glasses from IKEA. I use them for tealight holders. I think Target has a bit of green stuff in stock at the moment. Worth a look for glassware and plates etc, if you want those sort of things. Re: Doing it with green.....show us here! 20Jul 07, 2010 11:40 am Love green, especially soft sage green and golden/sage green shades. Our old place was subtle green all over, some original colours, some added by us (like Dulux "Bamboo White" sage green walls). Walls, carpet, some blinds, some curtains, bath , deck, some external trims, fence, trees, grass ... errr ... No, seriously. Will find place in new house too ...
