http://shop.fidarsi.com.au/ http://www.m8r8au.com/ http://ozmartau.com/ Thanks... Re: Furniture Websites ... so cheap ? 2Jun 06, 2010 8:01 am I bought my sofa lounge from M8R8. If you are in Victoria, their shipping cost is much cheaper than others. Also, they have a warehouse in Blackburn so that you can see the actual unit before you make your purchase. I love the sofa that I bought from them. Cheers! Re: Furniture Websites ... so cheap ? 3Jun 06, 2010 9:09 pm Thanks for the info... i will definitely go next week and check thanks again Re: Furniture Websites ... cheap ? 6Jun 22, 2010 5:56 pm One of my friends has bought Italian recliners (3+2) from m8r8 in Melb. Wait time for delivery is around 8weeks as they are shipped from China (not surprised as everything is now made in China). They have a warehouse in s.e. melb and from what he saw he was happy for what he was paying. cheers, Ameya 26/2 - Sales 23/3 - Colours 31/3 - Tender 14/4 - Contract 7/5 - Taps 12/6 - Site start 15/6 - Slab 27/6 - Frame 1/8 - Lockup/Fixing 29/9 - PCI 25/10 - Handover Re: Furniture Websites ... cheap ? 7Jun 22, 2010 6:51 pm Last weekend we went to check the furnitures at M8R8's showroom in blackburn and I was absolutely fascinated by their designs. They do bargain on their warehoue handling charges(rather wave it off) if you plan on buying more than 1 item from them.We plan on buying 2 modular sofas and beds from them.Hope to bargain on the overall package. Re: Furniture Websites ... cheap ? 8Jun 22, 2010 9:47 pm great to hear this info... I'm in Qld so no showroom to see so am a bit scared buying sight-unseen! So the more info the better!! Dr Shenai what modulars did you look at? Were they comfy and quality? I love so many of them! Re: Furniture Websites ... cheap ? 9Jun 22, 2010 10:20 pm Hey Van, We are planning to get maddox/delenna and Lavenham. They were quiet good for the price quoted. Also the bed I plan to buy is the same one which a lot of the branded shops were selling for 2-3 times the price.there was no difference what so ever between the bed at m8r8 and other expensive furniture shops.Guess,it should be a good buy. Dr Shenai what modulars did you look at? Were they comfy and quality? I love so many of them! Hi Van, we went to check the furniture some weeks ago although we loved the looks of the furniture they are exact replicas But we didnt bought anything. reason being they were not comfy at all (if you compare with leather sofas at expensive places)... as soon as you sit on them you know they are replicas the Warranties are for 1 year only for everything (dont know about the after sale support) so in the end we went with Australian made (without hurting the pocket) fabric sofas Re: Furniture Websites ... cheap ? 12Jul 13, 2010 5:23 pm Hi guys Don't know if this helps but i was looking at this furniture wholesaler site. They seem have to have very good quality furniture at reasonable prices if you like the natural look. http://www.soundslikehome.com.au/wholesale/Furniture/Lifestyle/ M8R8 seems pretty good though. Re: Furniture Websites ... cheap ? 14Oct 04, 2010 1:45 pm bumping this up again....we are in perth but havent found any places that sell similar designs to fidarsi or m8r8....has anyone else found any similar shops in perth? Building with Celebration homes SOR Perth [color=#BF00BF] Re: Furniture Websites ... cheap ? 15Oct 04, 2010 4:50 pm Keep in mind that most of these 'leather' sofas are a combination of pleather and leather, so its the same kinda stuff you find on ebay. For example, m8r8 lists an RRP of $4,780.00 (with a sale price of around $1500) for one of these combo modular lounges which is a bit deceptive (in my opinion) since its more likely the REAL leather equivalent has that RRP. I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's had one of these sofa's for more than a year to see how the quality is going with the stitching and so on.
