I spent hours last night trawling through websites, finding the most gorgeous things - some cheap, some not so cheap. I have my eye on something on eBay too. I think I'm going to be drinking lots of coffee today. I have a full day ahead of me of staring at spreadsheets and reconciling financial figures. Not to mention reading through endless government budget papers. That's enough to put me to sleep on a GOOD day, let alone when I'm short on sleep. There is that one in M.Fair that seems good. They frame a lot of dimensional objects. Just ask how much it would cost to frame if you bought the piece in to be framed. You might be suprised. Then you could buy the necklace and have it framed exactly how you want it, if the price is reasonable. There are a lot of framers around, there's one in my street also. My friend gets her artwork framed there. www.themaxbuild.blogspot.com forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20717&start=300 www.leahspaperpassion.blogspot.com Re: Shadow Box Wall Decor 91May 12, 2010 8:18 am C'moooooon, Southies, you can do it !!!! A good box, a good glue (Bunnings), some metallic colour for frames and dark blue one for the background paper/board (or whichever colour you desire) ... and the bonus for the DH - each finished pic should not be more than $50 - $70 , ... well, excluding your priceless time and effort, of course !! Those 2 necklaces are the same style and colour ($23 from bel and the last one $25 from you) ... how many did you want? My signature is distracting people from my wise posts ... Many women wear such jewelry and they are very satisfied. How would one 'preserve' these necklaces even if they were framed & protected by glass? I can't think of how I could do this & would be wary of framing them without some kind of treatment. What would you girls do? Hang it up on something outside & spray from all directions? Would all the little bits then stick together?
